My lesson Here demonstrates how to create glassy/gel type - this lesson, demonstrates how to create glassy custom shapes, with Eyecandy Nature Glass which can be found here. My Installing Plugins lesson is Here.
Undo and Navigation Steps Two ways of undoing steps are from the top menu, Edit then Step Backwards. Alternatively, click a previous snapshot in the History Palette.
Navigate (zoom in and pan) your image using the Navigator Palette,
or the Zoom Tool.
Activate The Hand Tool by tapping the Spacebar, keeping the Spacebar pressed, pan your image in the usual way.
1/ Open a New document, with the following attributes.
2/ Then from the toolbar, activate the Custom Shape Tool.
And set the following attributes into its Options bar.
3/ Drag out a Custom Shape, and - if necessary, reposition it with the Move Tool.
4/ Now, from the top menu choose Layer then choose Rasterise then choose Shape. The vector line surrounding the shape will be removed, as shown below.
5/ Your shape is prepared, and ready for the fill. Photoshop has many interesting filters to play with; however, to fill it with Eyecandy Impact’s Glass filter, from the top menu, choose Filter then choose Eyecandy 5 Impact then choose Glass. Play with the glass filter settings and find a sheen and environment you like. My lesson Here explains how to apply Eyecandy’s Glass filter.
