Photoshop CS, CS2, CS3 and CS4’s Toolbar are very similar; CS3 and CS4 have one extra Tool, The Quick Selection Tool; this shares a fly out menu with The Magic Wand Tool.  Additionally, CS3 and CS4 don’t include Image Ready; animations are either created within the CS3 and CS4’s interface - or in a separate programme called Fireworks.
CS3, and CS4 have one Quick Mask (toggle) button, and the Change Screen Mode choices - Standard, Maximum, and Full Screen, share the same button - and are grouped into a drop-down list.

CS4 has two additional
(3D) Tool Palettes (3D Rendering Tools).
